WThis is a simplified version of a drink from our latest drinks list. This is a large-volume prepared mix that is packed full of essence associated with holiday season, which makes it ideal for hosting a holiday party. Save the extra cordial to use in morning drinks, sweets, or for more rounds of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Premix (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
Making the Cordial: Combine the listed components into a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the stove and let it to reach room temperature completely. Transfer to a sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around a month.
For the Batch Mix: Pour every spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate gently for one minute to chill. Pour into a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries and complete it using a light spray of mandarin oil above the glass.
